He has performed on a variety of television shows.
His song Thank You God, For Making Moms has received worldwide radio and video play and is included in the purchase of the book Every Day Is Mothers Day.

During his Contemporary Christian Music career, his songs Run to You, Peace and Psalm 147:11 all made the Top 20 Charts of the New Christian Music Network of the most requested NCMN songs worldwide. All three songs were in the Top Ten at the same time!
His song Closer Every Day won a radio station Battle of the Bands contest and earned radio air play across the country.
His independent music video Closer Every Day aired on TV in multiple states.
His songs have appeared on multi-artist projects such as Refuge Ministry's Songs of Refuge and Harvest Christian Center's I'm On My Way for which he wrote and sang the title song.
He has performed concerts for over 20 years including concerts with Grammy Award Winner Geoff Moore, Gramma Award Nonimees Out of Eden, Dove Award Nominee Freddie Colloca and he has shared the stage with the legendary country artists The Bellamy Brothers at the Black Gold Festival in Palm Beach County.
He plays energetic acoustic guitar and performs powerful and emotional lead vocals which have been compared to Phil Collins, Rich Mullins, Garth Brooks and Josh Groban.
In addition to inspirational music, Steven has performed in numerous sold-out theater productions as well as holiday and variety shows.
He has served as Music Director for sold-out theater productions.
He held the staff position of Creative Arts Director in a 100 year old organization.
He held the staff position of Contemporary Music Director in a 200 year old organization.
In 2009, Steven won the Statendam Idol singing competition with his rendition of You Raise Me Up.
