We enjoyed exploring and photographing Venice. Venice is the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region. Venice was once a world power. Venice is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Venice has no roads, just canals. The Grand Canal is lined with Renaissance and Gothic palaces.
