PAWPAW'S MESSAGES TO MY GRANDSONS 104 - SHERRY'S SMILE
Sherry’s Smile
The Sherry in my song is my big sister Sherry. She passed away too young at the age of 45. Cancer is evil. As I considered her role in my life, I wrote this song. Every word is true. Hugs, Steven
(I have come to the point at the age of 62 that the toxic mold exposure twenty years ago and the resulting breathing disability won't allow me to sing my own songs. I hope that my songs continue to touch your heart regardless of who sings them. Hugs, Steven)

Sherry’s smile
made me feel like
the guest of honor at
the best surprise party of my life
Sherry’s laugh
made me feel like
I’m standing in an ocean
of joy as warm waves wash over me
Sherry’s eyes
made me feel like
a lost child in the supermarket
at the very moment they see Mommy again
Sherry’s death
made me feel like
an elderly widower watching helplessly
as all his family photo albums burn in a housefire
Sherry’s smile
Sherry’s laugh
Sherry’s eyes
Sherry’s death
Made me feel
Sherry’s eyes
made me feel like
a lost child in the supermarket
at the very moment they see Mommy again
Sherry’s death
made me feel like
an elderly widower watching helplessly
as all his family photo albums burn in a housefire
Sherry’s smile
Sherry’s laugh
Sherry’s eyes
Sherry’s death
Made me feel
Made me feel
Made me feel
Sherry’s Smile
